An artist from birth, following earning a degree in Design, I continued to study art with several instructors, with my camera, drawing and painting my experiences in the fields of the world.
Classes have included those taken at the University of Missouri, Chicago Art Institute, the Kansas City Art Institute, studio of Numael Pulido, New Hampshire Institute of Art, the Sharon Art Center as well as workshops around the world. Each experience has allowed me to grow and I am thankful to each instructor.
A grant from the James Daniel Foundation allowed me to paint without the usual intrusions of the world in Scotland, where I experienced new vision and growth. While I keep a home and studio in Peterborough, NH, several times a year, I revisit the Scottish Highlands for peace and inspiration. I am represented in the United States by The Peterborough Art Academy and Shaker Style, www.ShakerStyle.com.

There is a lovely restaurant on the northern coast of the Loch, where my husband and I love to enjoy Cullen Skink while drinking in the scenery. Fishermen gather most mornings, dressed for the changing weather, and push off for a day in search of salmon and perch. This entire area sits within Queen Elizabeth Forrest Park, protected from developers. The hiking and bicycle trails bring nature lovers from several countries to climb these beckoning mountains.
"The image is more than an idea. It is a vortex or cluster of fused ideas and is endowed with energy."
